Alvar Aalto Exhibition

This project is designing two different exhibition posters for an architect by using the visual language related to the designer’s philosophy; either consistent or competitive. In my understanding of Alvar Aalto and his works, the most strong strength of his architecture is the harmony between his piece and its surroundings, which makes me concentrate on depict Aalto’s characteristic naturalism to compose a cohesive poster.

For the competitive poster, I tried to find the architect who has the exact opposite character from Aalto, which is Frank Gehry. Those posters were inspired by structures of Gehry’s pieces.
